Unicomer Group arrived in the Dominican Republic in late 2005, when it acquired the brand chain store “La Curacao” and opened his first store later this year in the area of Herrera, followed by its offices and main store, both in Santo Domingo in March 2006. Since then, the group has been opening new stores in the capital and major provinces, fostering a competitive environment, generating labor and general contributions to the economy.

Today the chain has 6 stores in Santo Domingo and 9 in other provinces, with a projected growth of 6 new stores each year.

The group has been able to restore the brand “La Curacao” placing it back into the minds of consumers as a store chain that provides quality in their merchandise and personalized service, as well as financing possibilities to those who need it.
